THE CRYPTOGRAPHIC PROTECTION COMPLEX M-448К-1.1, M-448К-1.2, M-448К-1.3
The M-448K complex is intended for use
as a part of workstations united by local,
regional, and/or global communication
networks including those based on
TCP/IP protocols.
THE COMPLEX CONTENT:
- Three types of cryptographic protection of information (SKZI): articles M-448K-1.1,
M-448K-1.2, M-448K-1.3; - The system articles control means.
THE M-448K-1.1 DEVICE
The M-448K-1.1 device can be used in a cryptographic communication network in
subscription and/or channel modes.
In channel mode, M-448K-1.1 is used for organization of protected exchange through a
dial-up or separate communication channel of the common use telephone network
supporting transmission of encrypted data in an open network at a rate of 57.6 Kb/s.
The device provides a transparency of work with communication software including clarity
for transmission of AT commands to the modem as well as the choice of encryption keys based
on a subscriber's number.
In sunscription mode M-448K-1.1 is used for encryption and digital signature of subscriber's
information.
CONNECTION OF THE M-448K-1.1 DEVICE WITH THE DTE
THE M-448K-1.2 DEVICE
The M-448K-1.2 device can be used in a cryptographic communication network in
subscription and/or channel modes.
In channel mode, M-448K-1.2 is used for organization of protected exchange among the
objects connected to the IP-network through dial-up communication channels. The M-448K-1.2
device is connected with the workstation and communication equipment through an
asynchronous interface RS-232C.
When organizing a secure channel through the IP-network, the M-448K-1.2 device provides
encryption (decryption) of data of the IP-datagram on tunneling key of subscribers'
communication by supporting transmission of encrypted data in the open channel with a speed
not less than 57.6 Kb/s. In addition, an oncoming work with the M-448K-1.3 equipment is
provided.
In subscription mode, M-448K-1.2 is used also for encryption of the digital signature of subscriber's information.
CONNECTION OF THE M-448K-1.2 DEVICE WITH THE DTE
THE M-448K-1.3 DEVICE
The M-448K-1.3 device is used in subscription and channel modes.
In subscription mode, the work of M-448K-1.3 is similar to the work of previous modifications
of the device, but speedier work can be achieved in the modes of encryption (decryption and
creation/checking of the signature).
In channel mode, M-448K-1.3 is used for organization of protected exchange in IP-networks
and provides a rate of information processing up to 8 Mb/s.
Counter-work of M-448K-1.3 and M-448K-1.2 devices can also be provided.
